While most shifters are window-based with a grainy texture, this retains the input's formant and character in a clear, yet cloudy timbre.

This also doubles as a bin shifter, which sounds like a watery and laser-y version of frequency shifting. This is used best on basses for squeaky and futuristic sounds.
